Do y’all remember doing these exercises in the “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” book?
No, I never got very far into it—my mind was so blown by the upside-down drawing and the blind contour, which I believe are right at the beginning.
How do you do this exercise?
Yes, those exercises are at the beginning of the book, around #7. My blind contour is my first entry in Drawmo! For this exercise, I had to “set a ground” with a graphite stick. Then I drew my hand through a picture plane and copied the major parts of that drawing onto the ground. Then I re-posed my hand as I did in the picture plane, but without using the picture plane, and fine-tuned my drawing.
