These women were waiting for the bus. At this stop there is a bus every 3-4 minutes, so none of them ended up on the same bus.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! (We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving.)
I like this a lot. Were they all there at the same time, or did you draw them separately, as buses came and went? If the latter, it would be cool to keep drawing people as they arrrived and left, until they started overlapping and the street was filled. Of course, you’d also want to have Hanna or Arne standing over your shoulder with a camera, taking time-lapse photos of your drawing as it progresses. And then you could make a flip book of the photos.
Well? What are you sitting there for? Get on it, Elisabeth! I’ll just be over here, making some pies.
It was the latter. It would be fun to keep going until the street was filled, but that will have to be another day. My photographer wasn’t available today, so I thought it would be better to wait. ;-)
The idea of time-lapse photos is really good. Not just for this but for any of the sketches. I have always had a weak spot for stuff like that.
What kind of pies? Pumpkin? Apple? Lemon? Pecan? Mmm … I’m hungry now …
Pumpernut pies. Explanatory drawing TK.
What? Plumpynut pies? I didn’t know you could make pies from the stuff. Heh.
